As the year draws to a close, some of us are still carrying grudges and choosing to be dishonest or vengeful instead of making a fresh start. We don't feel guilty or apologize for our actions. We act as if we're better than all of that. But in the grand scheme of things, we're really small compared to God's perspective and the vastness of the universe. We're tinier than our own planet Earth, smaller than ancient trees, mountains, skies, elephants and giraffes. Despite this, we don't feel any shame or take responsibility for our actions.
It's a kind request to put aside our false pride and ego, which only causes harm. Let's apologize and embrace those who matter in our lives. Life's too short to let our egos ruin it. It's time to change, and there's no better moment than now.
